Event Details

Montie Design is proud to present the Montie Design Lunch and Learn Series of presentation and networking events in 2011. These low-key, high-impact seminars provide networking opportunities and relevant insights to those in the business of developing and bringing to market engineered products.

Engineering organizations are highly valuable assets to companies that rely on the products these teams design and make manufacturable.  How can you better align your engineering team's output with business goals while building loyalty and developing top talent?

The May 4 Lunch and Learn features human resources executives experienced in increasing the effectiveness of engineering-focused businesses.  Stacey Mangum and Bob Moore will present "Engineering a More Effective Engineering Team" at the Montie Design studio in Morrisville, just off Exit 285 (Aviation Parkway) of I-40.

Stacey Mangum is a human resources executive with over 20 years' field experience.  She is currently president of human resources consulting firm People Solutions, LLC.  Her experience includes senior HR management positions at technology ventures Geomagic, Arsenal Digital Solutions (acquired by IBM), LIPsinc, and Engineous Software (acquired by Dassault).  Stacey is able to effectively utilize tools such as DiSC, Myers-Briggs, and 360 assessments to increase the return on human investment.

Bob Moore, Certified Management Consultant by the Institute of Management Consultants, has over four decades' experience as an entrepreneur, executive coach, and consultant. He is founder and president of Effectiveness, Inc., now in its 36th year serving business leaders who want to optimize their capacity to achieve measurable results. Bob is also founder of the Talent Management Institute which provides integrated selection, alignment and development solutions that turn good people into top talent.

Attendees should expect to return to work with at least one immediately actionable insight.

The event will begin at noon and will include a catered lunch by Panera Bread (please email us at semonna@montie.com if you have dietary restrictions).  There will be time for discussion and networking before and after the presentation.  We will conclude about 1:15 p.m.

All proceeds from registration fees will be donated to Post 7383 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

We look forward to your participation!
